In the 13th minute Patrick Fontenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francesco Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Nicky Cavazos got a free kick in the 15th minute. Siro Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Rosenberg having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Ángel Albirrojo got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Fernandez. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosmos Soccer Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erubiel Gonzalez was slow to take the kick. During this time Ángel Albirrojo's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Siro Frances advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 25th minute. Francesco Fernandez hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ángel Albirrojo's Erubiel Gonzalez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nicky Cavazos, made in the 35th minute of the game. Jarrett Rosenberg made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Siro Frances sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd play minute Juan Fernando Quinteros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jarrett Rosenberg. 3-0. Sebastián Domínguez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Fontenot to strike the kick off in the second half. Amador Joanes struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ángel Albirrojo. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 55th minute of play. Lorenzo Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Lorenz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Frances in the 66th minute of the match. Lorenzo Lorenz came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot. But to his dismay, Patrick Fontenot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. If Siro Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastián Domínguez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Soccer Club's zone, Siro Frances stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal and Siro Frances tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ángel Albirrojo's goalkeeper Lorenzo Lorenz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Fontenot. Cosmos Soccer Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harvey Flynn in the 94th minute. When Harvey Flynn was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Harvey Flynn kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
