After a rather tough play, FC Blue Twister Liberec's Görkem Büyükada got a free kick in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Blue Twister Liberec's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orkun Okan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 14 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman. The audience was convinced that Ali Emir Devan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Ubaldo Canor in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, FC Blue Twister Liberec's Jiří Hasman got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Jiří Hasman in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ali Emir Devan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Vennerlund hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jiří Hasman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Ubaldo Canor in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The FC Blue Twister Liberec supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
