Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pál Szénási started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Markos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Patrik Markos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Patrik Markos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Markos saved ZLA FC from getting behind. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Markos having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Krisztián Forgács made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Patrik Markos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, ZLA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Patrik Markos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patrik Markos could save by the left post. 56 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
