Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tomás Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Dominix's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo de Coba's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Florentino Dominix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-1. Edgard Mendiko hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo de Coba's goalie and right to Isidoro Sarmiento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo de Coba's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tomás Pepillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute of the game Jose Carita made a throw-in which Tomas Berganza played forward. 33 minutes into the match, Deportivo de Coba's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Tomás Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Teodor kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Pepillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Tomás Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Dominix in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Deportivo de Coba getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Americo Guillen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of play forced Deportivo de Coba's goalkeeper Tomás Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Tomás Pepillo made a huge save. In the 68th minute Florentino Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florentino Dominix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 89 minutes, Jose Carita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Deportivo de Coba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Giro's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Giro helped the player get up and apologised. Norberto Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Edgard Mendiko fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo de Coba's protests and gave Edgard Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. The Deportivo de Coba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
