Adelino Palhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Raptors Frýdek-Místek's Murillo de Senna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the match, Raptors Frýdek-Místek's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Constantino Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute, Aivar Pulver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Raptors Frýdek-Místek. Constantino Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, one of Raptors Frýdek-Místek:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Raptors Frýdek-Místek.

The wind increased when Murillo de Senna made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Raptors Frýdek-Místek's goalkeeper Constantino Ramirez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 72nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Raptors Frýdek-Místek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Felix Montenegro sped through Raptors Frýdek-Místek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constantino Ramirez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Constantino Ramirez in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Constantino Ramirez managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Aivar Pulver put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raptors Frýdek-Místek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Constantino Ramirez, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Raptors Frýdek-Místek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Mikuš didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot a high long ball. Raptors Frýdek-Místek's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Raptors Frýdek-Místek throughout the match.
