The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Art Hauschildt in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Art Hauschildt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Art Hauschildt. ADANACAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack-Peter Grealish in the 19th minute of play. Alaaddin Atay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Art Hauschildt. ADANACAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ADANACAN's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Art Hauschildt came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Art Hauschildt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Art Hauschildt made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Art Hauschildt. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, Ömer Cerme notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After some careless play in the ADANACAN defense, Facundo Cadaval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Art Hauschildt. The ADANACAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Art Hauschildt should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute of play forced ADANACAN's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ding Carlos sent off a good shot on target. If Ömer Cerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Jack-Peter Grealish notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jack-Peter Grealish could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Art Hauschildt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ADANACAN getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ömer Cerme hit a great ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by ADANACAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Art Hauschildt saved ADANACAN from getting behind. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Alberto Tafalla sped through ADANACAN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Art Hauschildt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 91st minute of play forced ADANACAN's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Art Hauschildt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 97th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mexico were victorious despite being under pressure from ADANACAN for much of the match.
