When Damian Zajac fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's protests and gave Damian Zajac a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Zajac hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Renan Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Salgado saved KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT from getting behind. In the 30th minute Przemyslaw Karbowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's Damian Zajac got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Renan Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jan Pawelczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Damian Zajac was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. In the 47th minute, Damian Zajac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT made a substitution. Korneliusz Lukasik replaced Zenon Furgat. KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Renan Salgado, making the score, 1-2. The throw-in from Jan Pawelczyk in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Miromir Murdza struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Renan Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Przemyslaw Karbowski hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A sloppy throw-in by Przemyslaw Karbowski in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Renan Salgado in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Rasimowicz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Renan Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Renan Salgado in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Although KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT had been in control for most of the match, Venezuela still came away with the win.
