In the 16th minute, Laranjense's Milosz Juszkowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Milosz Juszkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Milosz Juszkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Palmiro Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. Laranjense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredinho Cabral in the 37th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Colombia's goalie and right to Milosz Juszkowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Abram Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Palmiro Gueifão having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Alfredinho Cabral took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Palmiro Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Milosz Juszkowski notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 66th match minute, Laranjense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Peio came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Lorenzo Fréchou in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. Palmiro Gueifão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Laranjense had won after a very even match.
