Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 16 minutes into the match, C A U's Lucas Barcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C A U's Feliberto Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 21st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Nico González got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 30th match minute, C A U was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Hrabina to maneuver through the defense. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C A U the free kick. The supporters of C A U booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Alejo Eduino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C A U's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The supporters of Honduras booed when C A U was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Alejo Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the game Enrique Hrabina made a throw-in which Lucas Barcelos played forward. Lucas Barcelos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C A U. In the 72nd minute, Lucas Barcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Barcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Barcelos went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Feliberto Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C A U made a substitution. Jorge Nahia replaced Lucas Barcelos. In the 86th minute, Jorge Nahia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C A U fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico González received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of C A U booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jorge Nahia managed to get in a good position for a shot. C A U's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Nahia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, C A U could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
