Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Veiga started the match with the kick off. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anis Achour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gus Wootton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tacettin Umay in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Gus Wootton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 22 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anis Achour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Tacettin Umay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tomás San Juan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Symba were awarded a corner. Gus Wootton went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Sílvio Veiga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Tomás San Juan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Tomás San Juan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tacettin Umay's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Gus Wootton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Gus Wootton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Anis Achour made a huge save. Tacettin Umay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Umay in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Symba's Tacettin Umay made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Symba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
