Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Germán Cano might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germán Cano ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when Izydor Opat made the kick off in the second half. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germán Cano in the 65th minute of play. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Kajetan Zagrobelny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 69th minute, Germán Cano made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Opat in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
