Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Moraru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Moraru was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fondas Papadogiannakis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Moraru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Dumitru Moraru came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play forced The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Commandos's Dimitris Tsirigidis got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, The Commandos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dumitru Moraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanos Kalfakis got free with Julio Vera in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Commandos's Dumitru Moraru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, The Commandos's Daniil Kleomenis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dumitru Moraru quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A hard shot by Fondas Papadogiannakis from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 47th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Moraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Moraru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Moraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Commandos made a substitution. Grigoris Sourmelis replaced Thanos Kalfakis. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dumitru Moraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dumitru Moraru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play forced The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dumitru Moraru quite easily take care of the ball. In the 93rd match minute, The Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Bakatsias to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than The Commandos and deserved their victory. The The Commandos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
