Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isidoro Cordarryl made the kick off which started today's match. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 6th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Carboncito's Higinio Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Isidoro Cordarryl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Henric in the 12th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Brion having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Cordarryl in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Brion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Carboncito's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Higinio Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Brion was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Ecuador booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Carboncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Henric to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Brion. Carboncito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Sugar in the 59th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Brion. That made the score 0-4 after 63 minutes of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Higinio Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Domingo Bakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Carboncito's Higinio Brion got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Brion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Brion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. The Carboncito fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Carboncito's Isidoro Cordarryl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Sugar in the 83rd minute of play. Severiano Henric hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carboncito.
