Elin Matrozov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lorenzo Yepes's late challenge caught a FC Shadows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ricardo Zorita. After having played for 14 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Bozhil Tonov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elin Matrozov in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Shadows's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georgi Gerasimov came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elin Matrozovs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 42 played minutes FC Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Zanko Nushev. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgi Gerasimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Stoyo Bebov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, FC Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zanko Nushev to maneuver through the defense. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zanko Nushev, made in the 77th minute of the game. A hard shot 78 in the game by Moises Fernandino from a close distance when the talented Georgi Gerasimov managed to make a qualified save. FC Shadows's players were relieved. 82 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Stoyo Bebov came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Shadows getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Zanko Nushev hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Elin Matrozov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Shadows had played much better football throughout.
