Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aleksandar Stojanović kicked off to start the match. Pannonia's Mirsad Grkinić got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through Pannonia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavle Rakočević. Aleksandar Stojanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Pannonia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Pavle Rakočević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 26th minute, Mirsad Grkinić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pannonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Aleksandar Stojanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksandar Stojanović. 36 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavle Rakočević. Pannonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Mirsad Grkinić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Trivun Mirotić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Venezuela were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Pavle Rakočević stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bogdan Trailović in the 58 minute of the game. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavle Rakočević having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Mirsad Grkinić notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pavle Rakočević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Pannonia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pavle Rakočević quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas shot a long shot in the 78th minute and a light blocked Pavle Rakočević hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-4. Joshua Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pavle Rakočević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Bogdan Trailović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pannonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The Pannonia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venezuela's performance. The match ended with a win for Venezuela.
