After 7 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ferrant. In the 9th match minute, Triana Rep. Ind. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Platon Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Platon Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Medero Valcarcel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Fernandino in the 20th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Fontirroig during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Platon Quiroga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Alejandro Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Triana Rep. Ind. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Cano to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Mario Fernandino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Triana Rep. Ind.'s Medero Valcarcel didn't even have to move. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Platon Quiroga in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Platon Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. Platon Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Mario Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Triana Rep. Ind. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Triana Rep. Ind.'s Medero Valcarcel got control of the ball when Mario Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Triana Rep. Ind. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Turienzo to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Villa. 77 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Doblas came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Platon Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Chicote struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Medero Valcarcel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Platon Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Medero Valcarcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Medero Valcarcel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Triana Rep. Ind. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bolivia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
