Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 9 minutes, Alex Aliprando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Aliprando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Teuben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. Marcos Akerman struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obrero Barquisimeto. Arne Teuben came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arne Teuben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Obrero Barquisimeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin couldn't finish the play. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Akerman in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Teuben made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Obrero Barquisimeto's 姜烨林 got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Cordera Pardaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Teuben saved Obrero Barquisimeto from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richie Vasaburu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Obrero Barquisimeto getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Richie Vasaburu hit a great ball. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Teuben having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Akerman to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Arne Teuben made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 65 minutes in the game, fortunately Arne Teuben had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Marcos Akerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. A hard shot 85 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Arne Teuben managed to make a qualified save. Obrero Barquisimeto's players were relieved. Cordera Pardaves charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordera Pardaves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Teuben. Arne Teuben dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Akerman in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Obrero Barquisimeto throughout the match.
