The corner led Venezuela's Patricio Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Cauan Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauan Salgado. Cauan Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. If 康斌然 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermanno Ferrini in the 15th minute. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but 康斌然 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 康斌然 in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute 康斌然 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvinegro FC's 康斌然 got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvinegro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
