Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Albäck having to interfere. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Călin Lechințan. But to his dismay, Călin Lechințan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Renos Papageorgiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Renos Papageorgiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renos Papageorgiou. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gavino Urdin made the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renos Papageorgiou in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Cristian Grozuță almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Hannes Albäck made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Skoglund in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Oskar Skoglund made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hannes Albäck was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Hannes Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Hannes Albäck did a great save. Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
