The audience thought a goal was coming when 罗树夕 got free with Thiago Pliego in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 罗树夕's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and 罗树夕 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 罗树夕 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Edinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of the match. The corner ended in 罗树夕 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Guillermo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Neto having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Gremengo FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Edinho Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gremengo FCCMZ's Teofilo Yerro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. After 32 played minutes Gremengo FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Macedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 36th minute of play forced Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Cafu Barral from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of play forced Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Bermudez in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Yerro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Barral came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Gremengo FCCMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Leonardo Macedo hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Lacasa 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Cafu Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Edinho Neto made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Barral in the 88th minute of the match. Teofilo Yerro took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Chile's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gremengo FCCMZ had won, even though Chile had held more of the ball.
