Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Bing Liang in the 3rd minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attila Pálffy in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Bing Liang in the 10th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. János Moravecz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. János Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Pálffy came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Ibrahimovic in the 36th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Moravecz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With an all-out effort, SÉ SE's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zalán Ibrahimovic, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with János Moravecz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Bing Liang in the 76th minute of play. When SÉ SE's Wen Bing Liang in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal.
