Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 3rd minute of play. 罗树夕 kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Gremengo FCCMZ were awarded a corner. 罗树夕 went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Uriel Bermudez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Edinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto didn't even have to move. In the 33rd minute of the match, Cafu Barral got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Cafu Barral took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Cafu Barrals short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edinho Neto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Gremengo FCCMZ's Cafu Barral got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gremengo FCCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubendu Landeribar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Yerro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Uriel Bermudez put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Edinho Neto in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Barral in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Yerro in the 84th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gremengo FCCMZ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
