Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curumalán AFC the free kick. Curumalán AFC's Juan Guerrero was substituted for Emmanuel Gigliotti. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Esequiel Barco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 93rd minute, Esequiel Barco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Guerrero in the 96 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curumalán AFC had won after a very even match.
