Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gorgory's Oscar Arevalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Luís Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Shohoku FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Oliveira couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Voineag made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Oscar Arevalo sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute of the match Gorgory got a corner. Shohoku FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Benet ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dan Benet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Voineag quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Abel Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yerko Maloku, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Yerko Maloku was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Oscar Arevalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gabriel Voineag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Arevalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gabriel Voineag made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Oscar Arevalo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Voineag. Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Shohoku FC from getting a goal against them. Basilio Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gabriel Voineag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Voineag made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Arevalo in the 36th minute. Fabricio Tapia hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Oscar Arevalo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Gabriel Voineag skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Gorgory booed when Shohoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Arevalo. Oscar Arevalo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Voineag came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Arevalo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Gorgory's Oscar Arevalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Voineag narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Voineag made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Oscar Arevalo sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Gorgory made a substitution. Donatello Caseres replaced Basilio Cordairo. In the 52nd minute, Donatello Caseres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gorgory's Abel Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yerko Maloku in the 55th minute of play. Yerko Maloku scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Elroy Snijders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Tapia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gorgory's Abel Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yerko Maloku in the 66th minute of play. Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Valiente in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elroy Snijders in the 73rd minute of play forced Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Gorgory's Elroy Snijders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Voineag narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Voineag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Shohoku FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gaitano Lurquín hit a great ball. The supporters of Gorgory booed when Shohoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitano Lurquín didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elroy Snijders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Voineag having to interfere. Abel Orlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ambrosio Varela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 87 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Paulino Araoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Voineag was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Shohoku FC were furious when Gaitano Lurquín was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shohoku FC! Gorgory's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
