An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of play forced La Guillotina's goalkeeper Jonathan Che to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alan Tamayo hit a great ball. La Guillotina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by German Innocenzio in the 22nd minute. After taking down the ball on La Guillotina's corner Ildefonso Lain fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Unax got free with Thiago Pliego in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes, Cristobal Unax made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The La Guillotina fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when La Guillotina's Cristobal Unax looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 41 played minutes La Guillotina got a freekick which was hit by German Innocenzio. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Unax in the 44th minute of play. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when La Guillotina's Cristobal Unax fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Unax in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Miguel Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. In the 87th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Guillotina's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Che came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Unax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Che breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Guillotina were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
