After 14 minutes Los Spurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Spurs's Roland Hock did a great save. 17 minutes into the match, Los Spurs's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Roland Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Hock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Patrick Klimbacher's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Klimbacher helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Klimbacher kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Eike Salmutter came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los Spurs's Jan Gotthard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Gotthard to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Gotthard in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Horsky scored 5-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Leon Horsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Spurs.
