Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Victor Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 6 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Plumerillo defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Matro. The Plumerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Matro should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes in the game, Ignacio Fernández fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Plumerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Ellande to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Gonzo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Fernández's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Matro saved Plumerillo from getting behind. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ignacio Fernández sent off a good shot on target. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Long Feng Xing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Fernández. Plumerillo were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Long Feng Xing took the corner. Victor Deunoro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 32nd minute Jacobo Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Plumerillo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eugeniusz Koczara hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Matro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Matro was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Ignacio Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Plumerillo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victor Deunoro hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, Plumerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Plumerillo booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Plumerillo's Abel Matro. Abel Matro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Bahadırhan Yılğıralp kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Abel Matro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Montenegro in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Matro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Long Feng Xing during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Plumerillo got a freekick which was hit by Long Feng Xing. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Plumerillo.
