With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Joost Asselberghs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Finn Bartels kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Mystyc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Modesto Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Monico made a kick off. Adan Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Roldanillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Roldanillo. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 93rd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
