Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Ove Salkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Ove Salkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Ove Salkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustín Saelices made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson managed to reach the ball for a save. When BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. If Ove Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaac Jonasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Ove Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Ove Salkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Lorencio Irarrázaval kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 55 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist. But to his dismay, Ove Salkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ove Salkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Salkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Salkvist in the 61st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Gubbhöft made a substitution. Hans-Georg Luabunnum replaced Ove Salkvist. In the 65th minute Hans-Georg Luabunnum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Hans-Georg Luabunnum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 74th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Veronica took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. After 98 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. In the 99th minute, Ciro Incendio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
