Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Çeliker Dölek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çeliker Dölek. 29 minutes into the game, Çeliker Dölek lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Sakaryaspor's Önder Kornes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 55th minute. Sezer Kutertan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çeliker Dölek in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Önder Kornes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Gabriel Vaagen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Vaagen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sezer Kutertan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sezer Kutertan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 71st minute, Dinçer Pekel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sakaryaspor's Dinçer Pekel. But to his dismay, Dinçer Pekel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vaagen in the 77th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Thanos Saatsakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 80th minute, Dinçer Pekel made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinçer Pekel in the 86th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Thanos Saatsakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela.
