Recolta Alamor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Marlin Cano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jesus Wolfe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Wolfe in the 7th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Recolta Alamor got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vernon Kirkland ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute, Marlin Cano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Tuan Mason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claude Vilter hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Whitley having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 30 in the game by Claude Vilter from a close distance when the talented Marcos Cotilla managed to make a qualified save. Panama's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. German Whitley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Vilter in the 37th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Armando Arroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Recolta Alamor's German Whitley got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of German Whitley, 1-5. Vernon Kirkland kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrell McCracken to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Panama's German Whitley threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Miralles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon Kirkland in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Vilter came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Jesus Wolfe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Vernon Kirkland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recolta Alamor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
