Živadin Spasojević's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Makarije Baljak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radoslav Tonković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 53rd minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslav Tonković having to interfere.
