Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Marcel Mallinger in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of play. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcel Mallinger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Ralf Szüczs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Ralf Szüczs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Szüczs in the 29th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Szüczs in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, USA's Cassius Byrne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Mallinger. Marcel Mallinger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 39 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Anfilogino Alfonsi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Marcel Mallinger made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Alfonsi to make the kick off. Ralf Szüczs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Hamilton Carvalhal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Andreas Trautermann's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Trautermann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of USA booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Trautermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Alfonsi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Per Nienhaus replaced Hamilton Carvalhal. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Mallinger. Marcel Mallinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. FV Wienerwald's Célio Nogueira was substituted for Anfilogino Alfonsi. In the 71st match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Rehmer to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes FV Wienerwald got a freekick which was hit by Kim Rehmer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 76th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Marcel Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of USA booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justus Sandkühler didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Justus Sandkühler kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Marcel Mallinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Sam Campbell sped through FV Wienerwald's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Mallinger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Szüczs in the 96th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
