Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomáš Cisko started the match with the kick off. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Cisko came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomáš Cisko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced FC74 Patagones pro's goalkeeper Eduardo Arlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Arlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Carlos Estevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Carlos Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Eduardo Arlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 36th minute of play. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Arlo having to make a save. Carlos Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eduardo Arlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomáš Cisko in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Cisko in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Carlos Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo Arlo. The goal made the score 0-1. The supporters of FC74 Patagones pro booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC74 Patagones pro's goalkeeper Eduardo Arlo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Arlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 played minutes FC74 Patagones pro got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Gentza. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Paredes in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Eduardo Arlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Armando Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The FC74 Patagones pro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
