The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Fabian Kornecki in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liviu Gogu scored 3-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Delphine Stars.
