Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evstati Komitski got the match started through his kick off. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denko Kishev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Denko Kishev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denko Kishev saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Evstati Komitski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 23 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denko Kishev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Milcho Pechev hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 34th minute, Lozan Branev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 40th minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Denko Kishev. Galatasaray SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Dragolyub Shterev got a free kick in the 50th minute. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denko Kishev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Borimir Magerov hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes, Edmundo Espiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Galatasaray SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. Moises Tafalla made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galatasaray SK's Teodor Popnikolov. 70 minutes into the game, Evstati Komitski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denko Kishev. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-8. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denko Kishev having to make a save. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evstati Komitski in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galatasaray SK throughout the match.
