Bernardo Baraquiel came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Bidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bendito Sea El Fernet's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Baraquiel came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Baraquiel made a huge save. After having played for 27 minutes, Donato Bidari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bendito Sea El Fernet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Bidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Bernardo Baraquiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Karol Kosowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Bendito Sea El Fernet getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Victoriano Oro hit a great ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bendito Sea El Fernet made a substitution. Celso Ruisko replaced Gregorio Pancho. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 61st match minute, Bendito Sea El Fernet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Oro to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Bernardo Baraquiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Baraquiel having to interfere. Bernardo Baraquiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 92nd minute of the match. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bernardo Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
