The supporters of Honduras booed when Dalkurd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Carvajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 21st minute of play forced Dalkurd FC's goalkeeper William Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dalkurd FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute of play forced Dalkurd FC's goalkeeper William Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalkurd FC's Arsenio Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvin Carvajal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Asdrubal Mesa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dalkurd FC's protests and gave Asdrubal Mesa a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Dalkurd FC got a freekick which was hit by Asdrubal Mesa.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Sanchez to make the kick off. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. William Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hugo Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalkurd FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Camacho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Guevara made a great header on Dalkurd FC's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. William Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Cantillo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Espinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of William Palacios when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 77th minute. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Dalkurd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but William Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dalkurd FC's Asdrubal Mesa got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Cordoba during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Johan Cordoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ronald Cantillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalkurd FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Cantillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Dalkurd FC to leave the ground with a draw.
