Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ibon Toraño having to make a save. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibon Toraño was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Marabino's goalkeeper Ibon Toraño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ibon Toraño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Gumaro Mirafuentes got a free kick in the 19th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ibon Toraño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ibon Toraño was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Real Marabino's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibon Toraño came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ibon Toraño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ibon Toraño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Real Marabino got a freekick which was hit by Gumaro Mirafuentes. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibon Toraño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Marabino's Arixo Aponte got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ibon Toraño in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Marabino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Real Marabino's Ibon Toraño managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Marabino's goalkeeper Ibon Toraño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibon Toraño was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Real Marabino's Bautista Govantes was substituted for Arixo Aponte. With a little luck, Real Marabino's Ibon Toraño got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ibon Toraño. 0-5. A collision led to Real Marabino getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gero Santos hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goalkeeper Ibon Toraño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 89 minutes Real Marabino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ibon Toraño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ibon Toraño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador played a much better game than Real Marabino and deserved their victory. The Real Marabino players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
