Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Res Non Verba's Estevez Ingla got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes Res Non Verba got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Jaraczeski. The Res Non Verba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
