Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Huveneers started the match with the kick off. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Geert Smidts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf Huveneers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Van Den Broek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lionel Van Den Broek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Huveneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Rolf Huveneers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Keikoppers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alberto Tafalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but De Keikoppers's Lionel Van Den Broek did a great save. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Van Den Broek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geert Smidts in the 33rd minute. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lionel Van Den Broek came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 42nd match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geert Smidts to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Van Der Meren in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Lionel Van Den Broek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 61st minute, but Lionel Van Den Broek got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving De Keikoppers hanging dry this time. In the 62nd minute, Wout Leroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Lionel Van Den Broek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Van Den Broek having to interfere. After some careless play in the De Keikoppers defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lionel Van Den Broek. The De Keikoppers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lionel Van Den Broek should have stopped the shot. After 82 minutes De Keikoppers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Danny Emeleers tried in the 82nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Lionel Van Den Broek a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-6. Lionel Van Den Broek came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. 89 minutes into the match, Pol Ramon notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
