Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Feliberto Otsando started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Victorino Tallia struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graneros. After having played for 5 minutes, Romeo Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Otsando in the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Lesardo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiph Odén made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Romeo Frascuelo. Feliberto Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Filiph Odén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Graneros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Graneros getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Filiph Odén hit a great ball. Graneros were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ye Zheng Ming took the corner. In the 47th minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Costa to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Tallia in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Annilker hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Adan Silbestre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Otsando in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Graneros's Victorino Tallia got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Frascuelo to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Tallia came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Perna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Secada in the 86th minute of play. If Feliberto Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Tallia in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Otsando in the 99th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Graneros.
