Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of play. When Jairo Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Descamisados CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Descamisados CF got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Baraquiel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Descamisados CF's Jairo Baraquiel to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 31st minute of play. When Anselmo Thomas came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Descamisados CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Thomas couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Jairo Baraquiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Axel Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Axel Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Axel Montenegro hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Baraquiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 51st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 56th minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Lawrence Lawless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Descamisados CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The supporters of Colombia booed when Descamisados CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darwin Bramantio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. Lawrence Lawless made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Abram Secada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lawrence Lawless. That made the score 2-1 after 85 minutes of play. In the 88th minute, Ignacio Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Colombia's Abram Secada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd match minute, Descamisados CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Bochini to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Celestino Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
