LEPE CYTY TEAM's Fan Jian Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fan Jian Jun having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, LEPE CYTY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Fan Jian Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fan Jian Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vistruario Tobia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fan Jian Jun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vistruario Tobia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fan Jian Jun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Lulcho Golomeev's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lulcho Golomeev helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lulcho Golomeev got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ecuador made a substitution. Max Alvarado replaced Juan Sebastián Puig. In the 58th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fan Jian Jun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LEPE CYTY TEAM's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fan Jian Jun could save by the left post. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, LEPE CYTY TEAM's Fan Jian Jun got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fan Jian Jun. That made the score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Vistruario Tobia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LEPE CYTY TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, LEPE CYTY TEAM's Vistruario Tobia got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庄弘风 in the 83rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, LEPE CYTY TEAM's goalkeeper Fan Jian Jun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. LEPE CYTY TEAM's Fan Jian Jun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save LEPE CYTY TEAM from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Max Alvarado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fan Jian Jun was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Max Alvarado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fan Jian Jun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fan Jian Jun made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fan Jian Jun. Fan Jian Jun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The LEPE CYTY TEAM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
