Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Márcio Ribeiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Flores. Mariano Flores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, BIAMAR's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Mariano Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BIAMAR's Mariano Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Flores having to interfere. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Flores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. The BIAMAR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BIAMAR's Mariano Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Flores was left in no man's land by his defense there! BIAMAR made a substitution. Juliano Santos replaced Rui Monteiro. BIAMAR's Vasco Castilho was substituted for Pedro Freire. With a little luck, BIAMAR's Mariano Flores got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mariano Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Mariano Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. Mariano Flores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Mariano Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Flores was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Israel Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. BIAMAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. BIAMAR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Mariano Infante fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BIAMAR's protests and gave Mariano Infante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Mariano Infante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BIAMAR.
