Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Vlado Grudkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MMM and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MMM's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eliseo Noboa sped through MMM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miladin Radosov. MMM's Miladin Radosov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 9th minute of play. Branimir Beluhov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 14th minute of play forced MMM's goalkeeper Miladin Radosov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velko Borgovski in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Bozhin Karailiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miladin Radosov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhin Karailiev came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Ferrant made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MMM's Branimir Beluhov. The MMM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa Rica were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velko Borgovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, MMM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branimir Beluhov to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MMM the free kick. The supporters of MMM booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Miladin Radosov in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by MMM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhin Karailiev in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Miladin Radosov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Velko Borgovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Velko Borgovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Ferdinand Prunaru shot a long shot in the 93rd minute and a light blocked Benito Sanz hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. A collision led to MMM getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Velko Borgovski hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
