Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. Cassius Byrne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Lin Mo Hong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esequiel Barco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esequiel Barco in the 16th minute of play. Lin Mo Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Lin Mo Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Curumalán AFC's zone, Cassius Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lin Mo Hong came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Monty Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Alexander Aalders hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Curumalán AFC made a substitution. Emmanuel Gigliotti replaced Juan Guerrero. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curumalán AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lin Mo Hong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Gigliotti to make the kick off. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jenson Smith hit a great ball. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emmanuel Gigliotti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Lin Mo Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curumalán AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 77th minute, Freddy Mikelats sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and USA's Marco Day didn't even have to move. If Khalid Parry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gabriel Milito hit a great ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Lin Mo Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Mikelats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emmanuel Gigliotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Genaro Heli hit a great ball.
