Edmond Verdun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 14th minute of play. Turgut Soyuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turgut Soyuer ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Edmond Verdun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Albano Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Turgut Soyuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turgut Soyuer ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turgut Soyuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turgut Soyuer ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Jakes made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mauro Rameriz however managed to control. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save PREZULO FC from getting a goal against them. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Jakes made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PREZULO FC's Ferhat Sertuğ. After 73 minutes Errecaborda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albano Jaunzuria who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Mari Balotelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Mari Balotelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celsinho Perez struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Edmond Verdun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Mari Balotelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. Isidro Gines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Errecaborda AFC's Felipe Bitxintxo was substituted for Aírton Urbano. 90 minutes into the match, Betão de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 96th minute Mari Balotelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PREZULO FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Errecaborda AFC for a fine match.
