In the 18th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atahan Balon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Atahan Balon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atahan Balon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 54 played minutes Sebastian Käller rounded Los Muchachos del 86's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémie Boix, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Bencivenni's late challenge caught a Kind of Blue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Käller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atahan Balon. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. In the 96th minute Efrain Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kind of Blue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
