Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC ARK CS's Barry Charles got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Lang came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Brysz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, FC Devils's Amado Gilabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to FC Devils getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dariusz Brysz hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Júlio Severo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artur Boruc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 22 played minutes FC ARK CS got a freekick which was hit by Noel Elvins. Artur Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sammy Corcoran in the 25th minute. Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Devils's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amado Gilabert in the 34th minute. It was a well-played corner which Roman Loncki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 38th minute Dariusz Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dariusz Brysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dariusz Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Brysz came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Sammy Corcoran scored to the left of an out of position Artur Boruc, making the score, 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Lang to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Dariusz Brysz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Joey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute, Dariusz Brysz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolas Joey. The goal made the score 1-1. Dariusz Brysz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Joey having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Dariusz Brysz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Dariusz Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Júlio Severo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Devils's Artur Boruc. Artur Boruc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Devils's Tobiasz Orszak was substituted for Viktoras Rurin. FC Devils's Dariusz Brysz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dariusz Brysz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Joey came out and tried to block the shot, but Dariusz Brysz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 83rd minute. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Dariusz Brysz took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Nicolas Joey to make any attempt to save it. Lüder Maßberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
